Continued from Part 1
The news source says that sources revealed to Popdust that the 21-year-old singer, Selena Gomez, was diagnosed with the autoimmune disease a couple of years ago, and had been feeling exhausted with fatigue, facial swelling, headaches and joint pain.
The website was told by a source:
“Selena has been going full throttle the past few years and her Lupus is really catching up with her right now. She knows that she needs to take some time to address the disease and look after herself better if she wants to live a full and healthy life."
Although a source tried to deny Gomez had the disease, E! News confirmed she had the condition.
The source put a positive spin on the celebrity's condition, saying:
"She is not having a breakdown. She wants to be the healthiest that she can be and this means taking a little break. But she is fine. She is OK."
Selena has sent out the following statement to her fans, according to E! Online :
"My fans are so important to me and I would never want to disappoint them. But it has become clear to me and those close to me that after many years of putting my work first, I need to spend some time on myself in order to be the best person I can be. To my fans, I sincerely apologize and I hope you guys know how much each and every one of you mean to me."
