Selena Gomez breakup with Justin Bieber Twitter 'official,' Selena is 'done' (Video)

Although the recent Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez breakup could only be seen as speculation without any comments from the former “Jelena” couple, Celebrity News and Style reported this Monday, Jan. 7, that Justin Bieber seems to have confirmed his split with Selena Gomez on Twitter this weekend after re-tweeting a fan’s post. Sources from Hollywood Life also added this Sunday that Selena Gomez is “done” with the Biebs for now.

It appears this morning that for “Jelena” fans, the former power couple is over, and it’s Twitter “official.” Justin Bieber announced to his millions of followers that he at least has breakup on the mind, as he did confirm that his new “Believe Acoustic” album is going to have at least one song about going separate ways. Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez’s relationship in 2012 was rocky towards the end, though it seemed to be changing for the better after their New Year’s Eve trip to Mexico.

Yet after a reported blow-out fight and Selena Gomez flying out from the south early, the Biebs is single and has confirmed the breakup with his former girlfriend on Twitter. One of his many fans messaged a personal post to the “Beauty and a Beat” star about his “Believe Acoustic” album and alleged split with Selena Gomez, to which the Biebs re-tweeted:

“Justin always goes above and beyond for us. 11 songs on #Believe Acoustic … I have a feeling one song will be about breakups,” wrote the Twitter fan this Jan. 6.

Selena Gomez, meanwhile, appears to be avoiding Justin Bieber, according to the latest reports. Although insiders say he’s been calling her nearly “100 times a day” and wants to get back together, the Disney Channel star is “done.”

“Justin’s devastated and pathetic right now,” said the source to Hollywood Life. “He’s calling her 100 times a day … she’s not picking up. Selena’s just done.”
