Selena Gomez had a break-in at her home on Sunday night. The singer is now living in a new house, and a man managed to get inside her guest house before she arrived home from a night out with a friend. On March 31, TMZ reported that the singer heard strange noises when she arrived home. She immediately called for security.

A man then rang her doorbell, and her friend answered. The man asked for the singer, and her friend said she was not home. When the police arrived at the home, the 20-year-old man was arrested for trespassing and burglary. He was held on $50,000 bail.

Selena Gomez had recently just purchased her Calabasas home. The home was purchased for $3 million, and it has five bedrooms. This is the first incident that has happened in the home since she moved in. Home break-ins are not uncommon for celebrity homes.

Gomez did have a busy weekend. She won favorite female singer at the Kid's Choice Awards on Saturday, and rumors of an engagement to Justin Bieber have been surrounding the singer this week. It is good to see that she is alright after the scary experience she had in her home.

What do you think? What would you do if someone broke in while you were home?
