Although the love lives of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez may have had their share of problems in November and December of 2012, Hollywood Life reported this Wednesday, Jan. 2, that Selena Gomez intends on having a “new start” in her relationship this 2013. Some fans who initially heard the news were worried that the Disney Channel star may mean she was planning on being single in the New Year, but the latest sources confirm Selena’s “fresh beginning” is one that certainly has Justin Bieber in the future with her.
The back-together dating “Jelena” couple is fortunately off to a very good beginning this 2013, as sources close to Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber confirm that the two are “going strong,” but that Selena wanted to let her Twitter followers know she expects the best from the Biebs this time around.
“New beginnings. Fresh start. I love you all,” Selena Gomez wrote yesterday.
A source close to the “Love You Like a Love Song” singer added:
“Selena wants to start things new with Justin again and act like they are a new couple … to leave the dating drama and bulls**t behind. She said 2013 is their year together and they need to get back to basics. Selena will hold it to him though, so she let all her followers on Twitter know.”
With Justin Bieber getting ready to release his “Believe Acoustic” album later this month and Selena Gomez recently named by Yahoo the “Most Beautiful” of 2013, the New Year definitely seems to be starting off just right for fellow fans of “Jelena.”
