Sugar Factory ( www.SugarFactory.com ) at Miracle Mile Shops inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino decked out Selena Gomez' dressing room at the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino last weekend to celebrate the final American leg of her tour with band, Selena Gomez & The Scene. Justin Bieber was also in attendance with his lucky girl. The teenage superstar couple loved the candy set-up, which included Sugar Factory's signature whirly pops, chocolate bars, and their popular Couture Lollipops. Sugar Factory also created a decadent, over-the-top, red velvet-flavored cake – the 19-year-old’s favorite. Gomez’ personal bag of sweet treats included a Couture Lollipop, one refill pack, Candylicious lip gloss, Love Candy and Diamonds T-shirt, and Love Candy Rock and Roll tank top.
Television personality, Shar Jackson, took a spin around Sugar Factory on Sunday night, accompanied by one of her close friends. The former flame of Kevin Federline, immediately took notice to the giant picture of pop sensation Britney Spears in the front window of the shop, whom Federline famously dated, and later married.
The “Celebrity Rap Superstar” seemed to be in great spirits as she browsed the store’s expansive sweets selections. Jackson sampled some of the shop’s gourmet gelato flavors and fell in love with the Reese’s flavor mixed with strawberry, to create a decadent peanut butter and jelly combination. Jackson, dressed casually in black leggings, T-shirt and flat boots, purchased a Kim Kardashian-designed Couture Pop and her friend chose the Britney Spears-designed Couture Pop. The duo said thank you to the staff as they left, and with one last look, Jackson glanced back at Spears’ picture at the front of the store, as said with a shrug that the performer looked, “kind of cute.”
