Select Beer Store Bottle Shop & Tap Room in Redondo Beach is hosting a special week-long celebration in honor of their first anniversary!
The celebration will begin on Thursday, March 7, at 5 p.m. with the release of Select Monk 1, the first anniversary collaboration beer brewed by Wes Jacobs of Select Beer Store and Henry Nguyen of Monkish Brewing. The beer is a full-flavored, multi-grain Belgian-style table beer that will keep you coming back for more. Vella Mobile Wood-Fired Pizza will be on-site making fresh-made pizzas and calzones to enjoy with the beer.
On Saturday, March 9, they’ll be keeping it local and hosting an LA Total Tap Takeover, featuring Los Angeles regional breweries on all twelve taps. Featured breweries will include South Bay local favorites Strand, El Segundo and Smog City Breweries, along with the debut of the new Dudes’ Brewing Company, based in Torrance. The event will run all day, from noon to 10 p.m. Let’s Be Frank will be serving up gourmet, grass-fed, all-beef hot dogs.
The festivities will conclude on Thursday, March 14, with Pie Day! Starting at 5 p.m., I Heart Pies will be serving up their delicious savory and sweet pies, each of which will be paired with beers on tap. Pies will include Jamaican Beef, Chicken Jambalaya, Onion & Cheese, Chocolate Bourbon Pecan and Butterbeer.
