A Seinfeld reunion is going to happen very soon, according to Jerry Seinfeld. The Seinfeld reunion is an unexpected surprise to fans who spotted Jason Alexander and Larry David with Seinfeld last week at Tom’s Restaurant in New York’s Upper West Side. At the times, word was spreading that Alexander and David must have been with Seinfeld to plan for a broadcast of Seinfeld’s “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.” But, that wasn’t the case, according to a Huffington Post report on Friday.

Instead, Seinfeld denied that assumption by fans and said that there will be a Seinfeld reunion. He made the announcement on WFAN’s “Boomer & Carton” radio broadcast on Thursday.

Jason Alexander played George Castanza on the Seinfeld television comedy show, and Larry David was the creator of the show. The diner where they were seen – Tom’s Restaurant in New York City – was the coffee shop often used for scenes filmed for the popular television show.

Seinfeld, the television sitcom, was shown on NBC-TV from July 5, 2090 through May 14, 1998 – lasting 9 television seasons. Seinfeld and David created the show. Seinfeld played a fictional version of himself. Besides Seinfeld and Alexander, the show featured Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Elaine Benes and Michael Richards as Cosmo Kramer.
