Animal advocates are begging for the lives of Mia and Ocelot.
Ocelot #A0958371 has been blind since birth and uses Mia A#0958372 to find his way around. Tragically, their path has led these two dogs to one of the highest kill facilities in the United States, Brooklyn Shelter.
Animal lovers around the world try to save inmates at this high kill institution.
Urgent Part 2 Facebook page strives 24/7 to try and save just a few of the dogs like Mia and Ocelot who wind up behind NYC kill shelter doors.
Mia has a Facebook page organized to try and save her life and the life of her companion, Ocelot:
"Mia is on the kill list tonight. She is Ocelot's seeing eye. Ocelot would need his eyes taken out, as they suspect its glaucoma, but the owners say he is born blind Ocelot is 5 and Mia is said to be 2 years old. Their human said they don't have time for them anymore. How sad. Please help them."
On the shelter relinquishment form, a name was signed in a spot delegated for 'humans.' What kind of individual calls himself a 'human' that can dump companions to be killed by strangers in crowded, loud, kill facility like Brooklyn Center?
Urgentdeathrowdogs@gmail.com if you can help or post on Mia and Ocelot's wall.
