Jung’s Seeds is lighting a fire this year with a first time offering of the Bhut Jolokia pepper, one of the hottest in the world. Also known as the Ghost Pepper these unassuming little peppers pack a terrific wallop and should be handled with care and respect. Matures in 85 days, no special culture required treat as any other pepper for growing purposes.

Jung’s also offers the Red Belt hybrid new for 2014, a sweet red Cubanel type pepper. Maturing in about 65 days the pepper is touted for its disease resistance and sweet flavor.

Johnny’s Seeds brings us a new sweet three lobed vividly orange pepper called simply “Glow”. A compact little plant excellent for container gardening. This is a continuation of the line which produces similar bright red and yellow peppers called respectively, Lipstick and Aura.

Burpee Seeds comes to the table with a Jalapeno which has almost all the heat bred out of it! It is called Born to be Mild and delivers Jalapeno flavor without the burn. Sixty five days to maturity for this 2014 newcomer.
