Are you attending the Houston Auto Show this weekend? Our family is! It is a great opportunity to find out about the latest and greatest in car, truck and SUV designs as well as all the newest accesories and features that we can expect to see when we purchase our next car. It is also a great way to find out about new technologies and of course, spend some time in the Kid Zone where the kids can have as much fun as the parents.

What can we expect to see at the Houston Auto Show?
- the newest designs, features and technology in cars, trucks, SUV's, crossover, mini van and even eco-friendly vehicles
- test drive cars from Chrysler, Subaru, Kia, Toyota, Scion, Cadillac, Chevy, Buick and GMC. Be sure to review all the rules before you plan on taking a car for a ride.
- a fun filled kid's zone complete with obstacle course, slide, crafts, activities, and bouncing on the "Monster Truck Jump."
I had the opportunity to get a sneak peek at some of the Ford cars you can come to expect at the Houston Auto Show earlier this week as well as learn about some of the really family friendly features that the 2013 models will have, (one of my personal favorites - some models will have a small cooler console!). While I was finding out more about Ford vehicles, I also had the opportunity to find out from Scott Monty head of Ford Social Media what some of his favorite family friendly Ford vehicles are as well as test drive the Ford Focus and the brand new Ford Explorer.
Family favorite picks include: Ford Escape, Ford Explorer and the Ford Flex. I must admit, I used to own a Ford Explorer and this "ain't your Father's Ford" anymore. While I could tell you all the things I liked about it, I'll save that for another day and just recommend that you take some time to check out the newest auto designs and technology available this weekend at the Houston Auto Show.
