Old Westbury is a historic house and gardens in the town of Old Westbury that is now open to the public. The house is a landmark that is open for tours and the grounds are comprised of immaculately kept gardens that welcome visitors to explore. Old Westbury Gardens is a beautiful place to visit all year round and it is a frequent filming location for TV shows and movies. Furthermore, Old Westbury Gardens makes special effort to host events at Easter, Christmas and Halloween.
This October, Old Westbury Gardens is hosting “The Rise of the Jack Lanterns. “ This event showcases, after nightfall, over 5,000 illuminated and hand-carved pumpkins that are displayed in unique ways. The event is on display until November 3rd and tickets cost between $18-$26 dollars per person (members get in cheaper).
