'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ director Zack Snyder unveiled a new clip from the highly-anticipated superhero film showing Superman (Henry Cavill) tearing apart Batman’s (Ben Affleck) Batmobile. Snyder released the 44 seconds clip during his appearance on Conan and opened up to host Conan O’Brien about how the Batmobile was built to sustain the beating.
In the scene Superman stands on top of Batman’s broken-down Batmobile and rips off the hood of the sleek cruiser. As for how the prop team prepared for the scene, Snyder explained, “They had to reinforce it and they filled it with foam and stuff like that so you could stand on it, but it worked out. It worked out really great.” When asked what makes his Batmobile so special, Snyder said, “The cool thing about our Batmobile is that it’s purpose built by Bruce Wayne to be the Batmobile. It allows it to be a slightly “battier,” is that a way of saying…?”
Joining Cavill and Affleck for the fantasy sci-fi are Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. Fearing the actions of Superman is left unchecked, Batman takes on Superman, while the world wrestles with what kind of a hero it really needs. With Batman and Superman fighting each other, a new threat Doomsday is created by Lex Luthor. It's up to Superman and Batman to set aside their differences along with Wonder Woman to stop Lex Luthor and Doomsday from destroying Metropolis. ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ arrives in theaters on March 25.
