See Sadistic Intent with Cemetary Urn, Friday October 15th

See also

Several times a year, the dark gods of abyssal death metal are praised by us Southern Californians at a ritual performance envied by the rest of the world: a Sadistic Intent show. The band practically never tours, so if you are lucky enough to live near the LA area, consider yourself blessed (cursed?) to be able to see one of the world's greatest esoteric death metal bands with relative frequency and intimacy. For those uninitiated in the ways of this sadistic death cult, know that they play dark and complex old school death metal that is utterly mindblowing to see in a live setting.

Also (dis)gracing us with their unholy presence will be the following bands: Cemetery Urn, a "new school of old school" death metal band from Australia; Sanguis Imperem, a California black / death metal band; Unholy Lust, a band who themselves worship at the Sadistic altar (read more about them here); and last but never least, Daemonic, a local blasphemous death metal band. This show is presented by Iron Room Productions.

There's only one catch: this show takes place at a venue which, apparently, has never been used before for a concert (let alone, a death metal show), so use caution if you plan on attending and be prepared for possible disappointment in case the show is closed down before the headliners get to play. There are other factors, such as the venue's sound quality and parking, which are as of yet unknowns. Seems Sadistic has a knack for playing the weirder venues around town!

Nevertheless, if you do end up going, tickets are $18 at the door, and this is an 18-and-over event. Anything else you'll need to know is printed below.
