See full opening ceremony of Legoland Florida pool and Oriental Garden

How to you reopen the iconic Florida Pool and the serene Oriental Garden at Legoland Florida? By cutting a ribbon with a pair of giant Lego scissors of course!

That's exactly what the park's general manager, Adrian Jones, and Bob Gernert, former president of the Greater Winter Haven Chamber of Commerce, did on March 5 at the long-awaited reintroduction of two areas that were once a popular part of Cypress Gardens.

Legoland Florida was built on the site of that defunct park, and it incorporated many of its elements, like Coastersaurus (formerly the Triple Hurricane) and the Island in the Sky ride. Part of the gardens opened along with Legoland Florida in 2011, but the Oriental Garden and Florida Pool needed a lot of work. Their restoration is now complete, and guests can visit them as park of their regular admission ticket.
