It's time for Lois Lane's close-up. The highly anticipated superhero film Man of Steel will be hitting theaters this summer and on Wednesday, Jan. 30 DesdeHollywood.com released the first official photo of Amy Adams as the iconic character Lois Lane. The film will be flying into theaters on June 14, 2013.
Adams can be seen in the black and white photo holding what looks like an iPad. She is the only part of the picture which is in focus and is staring at something in front of her while at The Daily Planet newspaper office. The photo is the first real glimpse of Clark Kent's love interest and female friend for the new film, which has previously focused on the conflict between good and evil.
The Zach Snyder directed film which will release in 2D, 3D, and IMAX also stars Henry Cavill, Laurence Fishburne, Christopher Meloni, Russell Crowe, Kevin Costner, and Diane Lane. The film is expected to focus on the origins of Superman, and how young Clark Kent discovers his true purpose while growing up on planet Earth.
