When we were kids (I may be dating myself here) and we wanted to think somebody, usually from the opposite sex, was interested in us we would grab a flower and start plucking its petals. 'She loves me, she loves me not...." And we would repeat it until we got the answer we wanted.
Secular scientists do this, too. "It is, it isn't....it is, it isn't" usually until they get the desired answer.
Pluto was a planet when I was a kid. It isn't anymore. It was, it wasn't. Now many scientists argue over what constitutes a planet. Creationists argue, too, of course.
Point being - we should be careful about placing all of our confidence in things determined by man - scientists or otherwise.
Rather, the Word of God has proven to be faithful and unchanging ever since it was penned over a period of 1500 years by 40 some authors on various continents and from a wide variety of walks of life yet with one consistent message.
Where is your confidence placed?
Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. Psalm 119:105
