Secular Community Events for the Week Starting April 7th

For those interested in joining the local nonreligious community, here are some free events in the Portland area you might be interested in (all are free events):

Tue April 8th: Potluck and Social Event

Wed. April 9th: Debate "Does Anything Supernatural Exist?" at Portland State University. Some of the presenters include: Phil Smith (Philosophy Professor at George Fox University), Bernie Dehler, and PSU Freethinker student leaders Addie Lass and Marko Balogh.

Thur April 10th: Robert M. Price speaks for The Center for Inquiry on the topic of "The Christ Myth." Dr. Price is a university professor and prolific author. Some of the books he wrote include: "Deconstructing Jesus, " "The Reason Driven Life," "Jesus is Dead," "Inerrant the Wind: The Evangelical Crisis in Biblical Authority," "The Case Against the Case for Christ," and "The Amazing Colossal Apostle: The Search for the Historical Paul."

Sun. April 13th: Portland Sunday Assembly with special speaker (local Star Trek actor Adam Rosco):
