"Secrets Of Eden" synopsis/plot

After a husband and wife are killed in what appears to be a small town murder-suicide, a charismatic pastor becomes the focus of the police investigation. What police uncover in this idyllic Vermont community are hidden secrets that will eventually be exposed.

According to Chris Bohjalian, the inspiration for the story came after he spoke with a victim's rights advocate about a true domestic abuse case. That story became the framework for the entire story.
