But there is a God in heaven Who reveals secrets, and He has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what it is that shall be in the latter days (at the end of days). Your dream and the visions in your head upon your bed are these... (Daniel 2:28 AMP)
He reveals the deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with Him! [Job 15:8; Ps. 25:14; Matt. 6:6.] (Daniel 2:22 AMP)
Daniel had been given the content and the explanation of an odd dream King Nebuchadnezzar had been given. The explanation was given to Daniel by our God in heaven. Daniel didn't conjure it up himself nor take the credit for it but humbly admitted it was God. God in heaven also gave the dream to the King, who was not an Israelite nor one who believed in Him. This says that wisdom can come through someone who may not actually trust The God in heaven Who reveals secrets. We need to be careful who we trust but also discerning in trusting those different than us. They may have something we need to hear.
The God who reveals secrets is the One we would want to be around, within, worshiping. This life is a confusing thing. We all need answers for dilemmas and situations. And life is also a treasure box and what a wonderful search to know God and find the gems, jewels and maps for our lives. God is beyond searching out. Which means there's no way to learn all there is to learn about Him or His treasures. But what a lifetime of richness to learn and know God's secrets we take the time to search out.
