Secretary clinton fights back at heated senate benghazi hearing

At one point Secretary of State Hillary Clinton became tearful as she recalled the arrival of the four flag draped caskets of American Embassy personnel from Libya. But, she quickly regrouped to face accusational questions and remarks from GOP Senators such as John McCain, Ron Johnson and Rand Paul.

McCain and Johnson cited incompetence in leadership being unable to differentiate from demonstrating Libyans and terrorists at Benghazi, Libya Sept.11, 2012. Rand Paul went as far as to state he would have relieved her of her position had he been president.

Sen. Dick Durbin, to Clinton's credit, stated the GOP members were politicizing the incident. And the very same Senators rejected allocating an appropriate budget for the State Department and international American diplomatic security. From March 2011, Congress had repeatedly denied an adequate budget fot the State Department.

Clinton stated, " We are in a new reality....let's avoid turning everything into a political football...bring people together to delve into what works and what doesn't work."

Critics and GOP members have failed to acknowledge the Benghazi terror attack that resulted in four American deaths is no more a Democratic or Obama problem, than the 241 American servicemen who died from suicide attacks on Oct.23, 1983 under the Reagan administration or the 2,996 deaths of Americans under George W. Bush administration on Sept.11, 2001 were Republican deaths. These were not Republican deaths or problems, they were and will always be American deaths.
