Sylvester Stallone might have some pretty big skeletons in his closet. According to a Jan. 30 New York Post report, sources are saying Stallone demanded his half-sister destroy secret recordings she made of their private conversations.
Toni-Ann Filiti made claims that her famous sibling physically abused her more than 25 years ago. Sylvester denied the allegations, but paid Filiti millions in 1987. Stallone’s mother has always defended her son, saying that Toni-Ann was blackmailing Sylvester and that there was no truth behind her claims.
The New York Post has reported the payout was to the tune of $2 million, plus $17,000 a month for the rest of Filiti’s life and up to $50,000 additionally to cover mental health and medical bills.
Written documents of this agreement between Toni-Ann and Sylvester reference six cassette tapes. The letter from the attorney to Filiti stated four of the tapes contained conversations between her and Stallone.
The letter, dated Aug. 3, 1987, dictated the tapes were to be destroyed by the attorney and Toni-Ann’s father per her agreement with Sylvester.
Filiti died in 2012. Sage Stallone, Sylvester's son died just weeks prior.
