Deep in the heart of Plantation, in a subdivision of  homes, is an amazing garden. The Blumbergs have owned the house for almost twenty years.   This is the most mature garden of the secret garden series. There are marvelous mature specimens of trees, palms and fruit trees. There is a monumental royal poincianna back by the lake. Large mature palms screen the side backyard from the neighbor's house. Majestic oaks shade the front of the house from the afternoon sun. A midsized stag horn fern thrives under the partial shade of the oak.

This garden also features the largest amount of container grown plants. Each plant is meticulously nurtured.  There are beautiful decorative pots.  On the patio there is a collection of potted herbs.  A raised bed vegetable garden sits out back. There some wonderful unusual specimens as well.  Butterfly attracting passion vines loaded with caterpillars are back by the pool.

There is marvelous garden whimsy throughout the garden. Sculptures of dogs, a fountain, and more surprise visitors as you turn a corner. The landscape lights along the entryway are reminiscent of flowers. The whimsy is well placed and not overpowering.
