A second woman was arrested on Jan. 24, 2014 in connection with the beating death of Calif. woman, Kim Pham, 23, according to KABC 7.
Vanessa Zavala, 25, the first woman arrested in the matter, has pleaded not guilty to murder. She is being held on $1 million bond and is slated to appear in court on Jan. 30.
The second woman arrested remains unidentified, only described as a 27-year-old from Santa Ana, reports KABC.
Authorities are seeking a third woman in the matter.
The report says that according to police, Kim was waiting in a line outside of a popular hotspot in Santa Ana, The Crosby, in the early morning hours of Jan. 18, when a fight broke out. She was kicked and punched by several people until losing consciousness, investigators note.
On Jan. 21, Kim was removed from life support after being declared brain dead.
