Second man arrested in connection of theft of tv's from Sam's Club

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives have arrested a second person, Jacob G. Collett, 31, 2856 Paul White Road, Moss Bluff, in connection with the theft of four televisions, worth over $2,200, from the Sam’s Club in Lake Charles on February 20.

CPSO detectives previously arrested Tony W. Gregg, 40, 2110 Huey Miller Road, Sulphur, on April 23. He was booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with 2 counts of theft over $500; and possession of marijuana, and released on a $3,500 bond set by Judge Ron Ware.

Collett was arrested on April 24 and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with 2 counts of theft over $500. Judge Ron Ware set his bond at $4,000.

CPSO Detective James Leubner is the lead investigator on this case.
