Yesterday, the first image of what appeared to be a new controller for the PlayStation 4 was reported by Destructoid. Today, Digital Foundry has leaked a second image of the controller. The controller in the picture is rumored to be a prototype controller for the PlayStation 4. In the middle of the controller, there’s what appears to be a touch pad, which lines up with earlier reports.
Visible in the new image, there appears to be a headphone jack on the bottom of the controller. There’s been some debate on the function of the buttons to the right and left of the touchpad. Some think they’re part of a rumored “share” feature, but it’s possible that these are simply the “select” and “start” buttons that have always been on a PlayStation controller.
Check back for more updates as they become available.
