The grisly discovery of a newborn has San Bernadino County Sheriff's Department on a hunt for a woman recently pregnant, yet without an infant in her possession.
According to the County Sheriff's department, homicide detectives responded to a call on on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. about a deceased infant. The address given was 17000 Abbey Lane which turns out to be the Victor Valley Materials Recovery Facility, in Victorville, Ca. Employees reported the infant had been found dead on a conveyor belt.
The Coroner's release indicates an autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death.
This is the second time a newborn has been found on a conveyor belt at a waste facility in Southern California in less than a year, see video.
