Second annual Naples International Art & Antique Fair returns February 23-28

The second annual Naples International Art & Antique Fair (NIAAF) returns to the Naples International Pavilion at Immokalee and Livingston Roads on February 23-28, 2012. Inaugurated in 2011, NIAAF introduced international fine art galleries to southwest Florida's flourishing art scene for the first time. With solid sales and an attendance of over 16,000 in its premiere year, NIAAF confirmed that Naples has a qualified market for fine art and serves to further the area's recognition as a cultural destination on the international art circuit.

The upcoming edition of the Naples International Art & Antique Fair will again showcase an array of international galleries exhibiting works for sale including American and European 19th and 20th Century paintings, antique objets d'art, modern and mid-century Murano glass, sculpture, haute and period jewelry and original design.

A VIP preview will take place on the evening of February 23. As it did last year, the Preview will honor the Patty and Jay Baker Naples Museum of Art and Naples Philharmonic Center for the Arts.  The evening will commence with a by-invitation-only First View from 6-7:30 p.m., followed by the Collectors Invitational from 7:30-10 p.m.

Naples International Art & Antique Fair is organized by Bonita-based International Fine Art Expositions. IFAE's principals, David and Lee Ann Lester, have been in the art fair industry for more than 20 years and have organized over 70 international art fairs in art capitals around the world including New York, Chicago, Hong Kong, and London. IFAE has pioneered the Florida market establishing the American International Fine Art Fair (AIFAF) in 1997, now the premiere fine art fair in America, and ArtPalmBeach in 1998, one of Florida’s most celebrated contemporary fairs. In addition, the firm founded Miami, Florida’s original international art fair, Art Miami, in 1991.

IFAE owns and operates SeaFairthe world's first mobile mega-yacht venue. Groundbreaking in ingenuity and style, the 228-foot, 2800-ton exhibition venue - which remains dockside during each event - pairs international fine art, jewelry and collectables with harbor view dining and special events in cities along the eastern seaboard.
