Second Alarm Fire at Goodwill Store

Engine 26, Truck 27, Truck 5 Engine 1, Engine 22 and the district 4 chief was dispatched to the Goodwill store located at 7431 Airport Boulevard in west Mobile.

The fire call came in on Wednesday February 8, 2012 around 9:00am

When the first arriving fire companies reported on the scene smoke and fire could be seen coming from a open storage area with a tin roof on top.

Shortly after the first arriving fire companies showed up at the scene the chief radioed in for a second alarm.

It took a few hours for Firefighters to put out the blaze and sift through the boxes of clothes and other donated things to finally extinguish the fire.

No firefighter's civilians were injured at the scene of the tow alarm fire.
