The 2013 SEC tournament brackets are underway and the first upset has already taken place. The SEC tournament brackets had two games on Wednesday (March 13), with Mississippi State playing South Carolina in the first one and then Auburn matching up with Texas A&M in the night cap.

The 10-21 MSU Bulldogs pulled off a nice 70-59 upset of South Carolina and advances to play in the second round against Tennessee. The team is a server underdog moving forward, but it's all about taking care of that game and playing the tournament one game at a time.
The winner of the Texas A&M vs. Auburn game on Wednesday night advances to play No. 6 seeded Missouri on Thursday (March 14). All of the games on Thursday are just to decide which four schools advance to the conference quarterfinals on Friday (March 15).
The top four seeds of the 2013 SEC tournament brackets received double byes and are patiently awaiting the announcement of their opponents. It is at that point where Kentucky, Florida, Alabama, and Ole Miss will begin their quests for an automatic spot in the 2013 NCAA tournament.
