SeaWorld Orlando wants Illinois residents to experience the wonder of the Antarctic and the beauty of penguins. Gurnee Mills is fortunate to be a stop on the Epic Voyage tour. On Thursday, January 24, mall guests can experience the newest SeaWorld exhibit.
At Gurnee Mills, SeaWorld’s “Epic Voyage” will host a unique family experience filled with a massive ice dome, interactive virtual reality, shareable photo opportunities, chances to win incredible prizes by playing Antarctica-themed games, and, of course, appearances by live penguins from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. Coca-Cola Freestyle machines will also be part of the experience on site to quench the thirst of attendees with complimentary, refreshing drinks.
The newest attraction at SearWorld Orlando is Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin. This experience will transport families into a mystical and rarely seen icy world. This first of its kind family ride will transport riders into the grandeur of the South Pole. The attraction allows riders to see the experience through the eyes of a penguin. From a massive penguin colony, you can explore above and below the penguins' icy world.
