SeaWorld Orlando has rescued 23,000 animals over the years, and it continues its conservation efforts in a variety of ways. One of the most popular is giving guests a chance to meet some of the rescued animals up close and personal. They appear every day in the Sea Garden, and during Just for Kids the little ones can also hear stories there, as well as pick up special collector cards representing the various species.

Click the slideshow accompanying this article to see some of the animals who appear during the event, which runs on Saturdays through April 12. If you can't come during Just for Kids, don't worry. They come out on other days, too, and most of the collector cards are always available. However, there are some special Just for Kids cards that you need to pick up at the activity tables during the event. Collect four and get a special prize at the main gift shop.

The Sea Garden at SeaWorld Orlando isn't the only place you can meet animals during Just for Kids. Head over to the gift shop in Antarctica to see two cute little penguins. Of course, you can meet many more of the adorable black and white birds if you ride Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin and hang out in the habitat at the end. The ride is open every day, and you can stay in the habitat as long as you wish once you exit the ride. Be warned, your time will be limited by your tolerance for the cold, since the climate is geared to the penguins' comfort.
