During the call the caller reported that a woman had been shot. Officers arrrived on the scene and found the woman who had a gunshot wound to her neck. She was immediately taken to Harborview Medical Center where emergency surgery was performed. She was pronounced dead just before 10 a.m.
Neighbors said they heard sounds of partying coming from the house before the shooting, and that it got so loud that they had called police to report the noise at around 1:30 a.m.
"A lot of music and they'd be outside yelling and shouting but we didn't think anything of it," said Jaenene Mackas, a neighbor. "We just thought it was parties getting out of hand."
But a couple hours later came the next 911 call, this time from in the house, reporting "unknown trouble."
"When they arrived they found a woman had been shot," said Lt. Charles Gorman of the Redmond Police Department.
While detectives have interviewed a person of interest Q 13 Fox News reports no arrest has been made and that details and cause of the shooting are still under investigation.
Neighbors are stunned and even though police say there is no ongoing threat to the community, neighbors are still concerned.
