Seattle University is in the spotlight today at U.S. News and World Report where the school has just been listed as the #4 best college for soccer fans in the country.

With both the men's and women's soccer programs on the rise, Seattle University was recognized as the No. 4 Top College for Soccer Fans by U.S. News and World Report.
As the city of Seattle becomes a soccer capital in the United States, soccer fans are able to experience elite soccer action in an intimate atmosphere at Championship Field on the Seattle U campus.
Seattle U was named to the list with elite company in the realm of collegiate soccer. Topping the list were Indiana University and the University of Virginia at No. 1 and 2, respectively.
Seattle U was ranked ahead of nationally known soccer programs in Maryland, Notre Dame, North Carolina, Stanford and UCLA.
The Redhawk men's and women's soccer programs are gearing up to kick off the 2010 campaign on the newly renovated Championship Field.
The women commence the season on Friday, Aug. 20, with the crosstown Huskies of the University of Washington in a 5 p.m. match. The men host their season home opener on Friday, Sept. 10, with the WCC's Gonzaga University at 3:30 p.m.
