SEATTLE, Washington (Isabelle Zehnder reporting) -- The Seattle-based leader in rewarded social expression, Lockerz, announced in a Friday news release it will offer its members 50 percent off all apparel on Cyber Monday and that they can use their PTZ points for their purchases.
The special will include the latest designer denim, tops, shirts, handbags, dresses, jewelry, and accessories. Prices start at $10 and members who make purchases on items in the “His” or “Hers” sections on Lockerz will receive 4,000 PTZ for their next purchase, the news release says.
Featured brands include: 7 For All Mankind, Original Penguin, LnA, James Jeans, Rich & Skinny, French Connection, Genetic Denim, BCBGeneration, Black Orchid, Jules Smith, G-Shock, Nixon, and Hurley.
As Lockerz members use their PTZ to drive down prices, they’re also earning more PTZ for every item they buy.
What are PTZs? Lockerz’s websites says that members earn PTZ by answering “Dailies” which are witty and provocative one-question polls, watching videos, uploading videos, listening to music, inviting their friends to join, buying their favorite brands, purchasing digital assets with fwb;)™, Lockerz’ social commerce feature, and even by just logging in. PTZ are then used to lower prices of merchandise in the Lockerz Boutiques.
Lockerz’s mission is to be the homepage of men and women ages 13 to 30. They want to build a community of trendsetters and tastemakers who love to shop, play, and connect on the Web. It’s a member’s only site that has grown to nearly 19 million members worldwide, offering major discounts on the best fashions, electronics, music, and more.
Lockertz is based in Seattle and was founded in 2009 by former technology and retail executive Kathy Savitt.
