The Seattle Asian American Film Festival will take place January 25-27, 2013 at the Wing Luke Museum.
According to organizers, the festival will showcase works by northwest Asian American filmmakers, as well as films from across the country dealing with Asian American people, issues, and themes. All screenings will take place at the Tateuchi Story Theatre at the Wing Luke Museum.
The festival was previously known as the Northwest Asian American Film Festival, which last ran in 2007.
Vanessa Au and Kevin Bang have brought the festival back in 2013 under its new name -- the Seattle Asian American Film Festival. The festivals mission is to seek out, develop, and promote Asian American artists with a commitment to original and innovative works.
