Family drama is one of the major reasons that "Supernatural" has appealed to the masses and that drama will continue to unfold over the rest of this season when Sam and Dean come face to face with Henry, their grandfather on daddy's side of the family tree. While "Supernatural" returns to the CW Wednesday January 16, 2013 spoilers were released January 1, 2013 by TV Line to help whet fans appetites. Check out the highlights below.
Felicia Day's character Charlie returns for a "geek-a licious" episode that is sure to remind fans why we love the "Supernatural" franchise. One week it will be ghost and comedy and the next week drama and vampires and the week after emotional drama mixed in with demons. One of the more emotional episodes set to appear this season is the "family mythology" episode where their grandfather leaps ahead in time to meet the boys. Fans know that hunting did not come from dad's side of the family - that heritage came from their dearly departed mother's side. But we do know that dad had some time in the military and one could imagine that will play a part in this episode. It will also be emotional as the brother's get a taste of what it was like for their dearly departed dad to grow up as well.
