Fans are exicted to see "New Girl" return to FOX Tuesday January 8, 2013 and things couldn't be more confusing and messed up. In an effort to ignore their feelings for each other Jess and Nick decide to make their relationships with Sam and Angie work - which is what we saw in the last episode to air before the hiatus. This puts them in a sticky situation, one that will unravel in the remaining episodes of this season according to spoilers released by TV Line January 1, 2013.
The drama will increase when Jess and Nick have to admit their feelings for each other. While this causes issues it is unclear if the new relationships will unravel or if Jess and Nick will act on their feelings. Schmidt does all he can to undermine Cece's mission of finding a mate because he is struggling with finding a way to live in a world without Cece. A new relationship will develop for him with a another model/actress Brooklyn Deckler who is scheduled to guest star in early 2013. Winston also gets a gal this season, Disney's Brenda Young who will be more of a coach than an actual girlfriend. This is sure to add some laughs to this already hilariously funny sitcom.
