It’s a big night for fans of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” and “Below Deck.” That’s because both series are coming to a close and airing their series finales on Aug. 26 on Bravo. Part three of the epic “RHOOC” reunion airs at 8 p.m. EST on Monday, to be followed by the season finale of “Below Deck” at 10 p.m. EST.
Andy Cohen once again hosts the “RHOOC” reunion. According to TV By the Numbers, the season finale reached a season high, with more than 2.4 million tuning in. In Bravo’s preview (see video to the left), Brianna and Brooks go head-to-head tonight about bad blood, accusations and difficult situations. “We crossed the line,” Brooks tells Brianna. “We have all done things that we wish we can take back,” he adds. Brianna doesn’t back down and accuses Brooks of telling her husband that he needs to beat Brianna to keep her in line. Fireworks ensue with Vicki Gunvalson exploding, walking off the set and saying, “I’m done with this show.” The final part of the reunion special of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” airs at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.
“The Real Housewives of Orange County” first aired on Bravo on March 21, 2006. It was the premiere program in Andy Cohen’s “Real Housewives” franchise. Vicki Gunvalson is the only remaining original cast member.
On a lighter note, “Below Deck,” Bravo’s new series about life on a luxury yacht, also comes to a close on Monday. According to the “Washington Post” and Bravo, the yacht’s crew is shocked when one crew member unexpectedly quits after Adrienne finally loses her patience with the hard-partying staff. Is it Kat, who has butted heads with Adrienne all season, or Sam, who is never afraid to speak her mind? Tune in tonight at 10 p.m. EST to find out.
Bravo debuted the freshman season of “Below Deck” on July 1, 2013. The series stars the crew of mega-yacht “Honor” as they deal with personal issues to make their professional careers work. Each episode features a different group of demanding guests. A reunion special for “Below Deck” is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 2. Last week’s episode pulled in 1.6 million viewers, up 11% from the prior week.
“Below Deck” has received mixed reviews. “New York Daily News" said of the cast of the new reality show, “They’re a lot like the servant staff on ‘Downtown Abbey,’ really except for minor differences in the cut of their shirts.”
