A new episode of The Real Housewives of New York City has not aired since October, 2012. Although season 6 was supposed to start filming in January, 2013, it suffered numerous delays after cast members banded together to get an increase in salary. After numerous delays in filming, 5 of the 6 Real Housewives from last season returned, with original Real Housewife, LuAnn de Lesseps unable to agree to a contract with Bravo in time to film for the entire season. As a result, LuAnn has been downgraded to a "Friend of the Housewives."

In Season 6 we will meet new housewife, Kristen Taekman, a former model and friend of Real Housewife of Beverly Hills, Brandi Glanville.

In Season 6 we will see original Real Housewife, Ramona Singer, deal with her daughter Avery going off to college; fabulous Sonja Morgan launch her company, Sonja in the City; Carole Radziwill write/release her latest book "The Widow's Guide to Sex and Dating"; Heather Thomson continue to run her Yummy Tummy empire; and Aviva Drescher fight with all of the other housewives.

Will you be tuning in for Season 6 of The Real Housewives of New York City?
