Season 5 of "My Strange addiction" kicks off on Sunday with a man of mythical proportions.
Justin Jedlica has made a career out of transforming his body into the likeness of Barbie's silicon beau, Ken. The man who describes himself as "The Human Ken Doll" has undergone more than 100 procedures in an effort to look like a Ken doll.
"I've spent $158,000 to really resemble a doll and um, chest was first, then moved on to bicep implants, tricep implants," explains jedlica. "I had the brow bone shaved, a brow lift and a couple other nose revisions. They all get a little fuzzy after a while."
The New York native says his fantasy began as early as the age of 12, when he watched the popular television show, "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous." He claims that his fascination with wealthy celebrity's started him on his journey.
Jedlica went under the knife for the first time just 3 days after he turned 18 and has had as many as 5 nose jobs.
Also featured on this season's premier is Emily and Venus, two women who spend most of their lives dressed up as living dolls. Emily claims that dressing up as a doll gives her more confidence.
Venus, and her mother Margaret, both dress up like Japanese doll models and have managed to make a living doing so.
The season premier of "My Strange Addiction" airs on Jan 1, 2014 on TLC at 9 pm.
