Season 16 'Dancing with the Stars' cast is announced

Get ready for an action-packed new season of Dancing with the Stars. This new season will feature professional athletes, country music stars, and everything in between and will surely be one of the most diverse casts ever.

Wynonna Judd, multi-platinum and five time Grammy Award winning country music powerhouse, will be a fierce contender.

Jacoby Jones, wide receiver for the Baltimore Ravens is fresh off of a Super Bowl win, and he’s hoping to bring the mirror ball trophy home and follow in the footsteps of NFL greats such as Emmitt Smith and Hines Ward.

Olympic gold medalist Aly Raisman has her work cut out for her following the lead of season eight winner and Olympic gold medalist and World Champion, Shawn Johnson.

The new season will also feature American figure skater, Olympic champion and World champion Dorothy Hamill and professional boxer and former WBC Welterweight Champion Victor Ortiz.

Reality television star Lisa Vanderpump of the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” has also signed on for this season as well as country music star and former American Idol contestant Kellie Pickler.

Actors and comedians D.L. Hughley and Andy Dick will also be part of the all-star cast that also includes General Hospital soap star Ingo Rademacher.

Rounding out the list is actress and Disney Channel star Zendaya Coleman who will pull in the young audience for the show.

The two-hour season 16 premiere of “Dancing With the Stars” airs Monday, March 18 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
