Searching for the perfect item: Visit the Mobile SPCA giant spring rummage sale

Someone else’s junk is another’s treasure. That is a saying that we have heard over and over throughout the years and it is actually true too. One never knows what one person gets tired of or decides to change the décor in their home now rids themselves of some really nice items. A rummage sale is an all in one place to spend the day searching for the perfect gift or knick-knack to spice up a corner in your home without having to go from house to house as you do at local garage sales.

Shopping for treasures and aiding homeless pets in one stop!

There is nothing quite like a rummage sale. One can spend hours looking though all sorts of items in search of something they can’t live without or haven’t seen available in years.

The Mobile SPCA in Alabama is hosting a huge event on Friday, March 28 and Saturday, March 29. The sale begins at 8:00 a.m., rain or shine and will conclude each day at 2:00 p.m. It will be located at: 620 Zeigler Circle West in Mobile.

It is the rummage sale of the year and it will be gigantic. They have a warehouse full of wonderful items that top the scale of more than 1,000 things to rummage through.

Some of the items available for sale include antiques, china, art, silver, jewelry and collectables. There will be miscellaneous household items as well such as small appliances, furniture, linens and choice pieces for any home décor. There’ll be something for everyone. Men, women and children can also pick out toys, books, tools, hardware, shoes, sporting goods and much, much more.

Jackson residents and those in surrounding towns look forward and are urged to tell their friends to attend this wonderful rummage sale event. It is certainly worth the drive out to Mobile for the day of shopping and good deals that might not be found anywhere else.
