Steiner Sports

Derek Jeter, the captain of the New York Yankees, is winding down his 20th and last season with the team. As part of the fan send-off to this future baseball hall of fame player, Steiner Sports is looking for the iconic shortstop’s biggest fan.

That fan, though, only will have seen Jeter play the last handful of seasons of his long career. Steiner Sports CEO Brandon Steiner requires that the fan must be between the ages of eight and 13.

If that fan is someone you know, send an email (socialmedia@steinersports.com) with your fan’s story for the chance to appear in an episode of “The Hook-Up” on the YES Network. “The Hook-Up” is hosted by Steiner. Each episode shares inspirational stories that lend a helping hand to those in need.

The ultimate Derek Jeter fan will receive exclusive items from Steiner Sports' “Captain Collection” and a complete "Kid Cave" room makeover. All story submissions must have the nominee’s name, age and hometown. The deadline for submissions is Friday, August 22, 2014.
