Under the direct supervision and direction of the Case Assistant Manager, the New York City Administration for Children's Services', Family Court Legal Services Division, is seeking to hire a Legal Case Assistant. The starting salary for this full-time position is $45,615.00 to $70,810.00 annually and the work location is 330 Jay Street, Brooklyn, New York 11201. To be eligible for this position, candidates must possess a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years experience in community work or community centered activities or a high school diploma and six years experience in community work or community centered activities. All candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Some of the duties a Legal Case Assistant will perform are; preparing reports, working closely with ACS divisions, draft correspondence with other agencies, working with community providers and attending meetings and conferences with community officials, families in court proceedings and other ACS divisions for resolutions.
