Search is on for men who burned a bag filled with pitbulls in Brooklyn

Brooklyn police are searching for suspects who set a mother pitpull/pitbull mix and her four puppies on fire near a beverage distribution warehouse at 91 Ditmas Ave. in Canarsie.

According to authorities, a surveillance camera caught several men exiting a van with a large garbage bag, which they set on fire near a trash bin before driving away just after midnight Monday morning. It is not clear whether or not the dogs were alive before they were burned.
In the meantime, the ASCA said a necropsy will be performed at Bergh Memorial Animal Hospital in Manhattan.They are also asking anyone with information to please call them at 877 843-2772.
