August 20, 2013. Police in Devon and surrounding areas in England are searching for the creep who has been mutilating and also killing farm animals. He has targeted ducks, chickens, horses, goats and lambs.
Ducks, chickens, horses, goats and lambs have been injured, killed or mutilated in three separate incidents near Exeter, according to police in Devon.
The original attack occurred in July in Bridford of the rural Teign Valley. A timeline has been established in this incident, placing the attack as July 12 at 8:30 p.m. to July 13 at 12:30 p.m. At that time, ducks were killed, chickens went missing and a horse and a goat received injuries requiring veterinary treatment.
A second brutal attack happened between 3:30 p.m. August 14 and 8:30 a.m. on August 15. A goat was mutilated and cruelly killed in that incident.
During yet another attack between August 15 and 16, a lamb was mutilated and killed in the Tedburn St. Mary area in the night. Police officials are still investigating this case.
According to PC Rob Condy-Young, Chudleigh,
These are awful crimes and have left the owners of the animals very distressed. We need to find the people responsible and are appealing for the public’s help in tracking them down.
This animal abuse in against the law and will be prosecuted. Anyone who can offer any help or information should call police 101 quoting crime numbers JC/13/376, JC/13/435 and JC/13/436.
