Search continues for Terrilynn Monette, teacher who vanished in New Orlean

On March 11, 2013, the search continued for missing Calif. teacher Terrilynn Monette, who vanished just over a week ago while in New Orleans, according to CBS News.

Terrilynn, 26, was in the area to participate in a teaching program entitled “Teach NOLA,” which places teachers in impoverished regions.

She vanished on March 2 and was last seen at Parlay’s bar with friends.

According to CBS, Terrilynn told friends she was going to sleep in her car rather than make the drive home. Her vehicle, a black 2012 two-door Honda Accord, is missing as well.

A man was reportedly in the car prior to Terrilynn’s disappearance, but New Orleans Police say they have interviewed him, according to WWLTV.

Authorities say the signal on the young teacher’s phone was lost just hours after she went missing, according to CBS.

Security footage from surveillance cameras outside the bar are being examined for clues regarding Terrilynn and her vanishing. Currently, there are no suspects or persons of interest in the case.

WWLTV report her family vows to continue to find her and her mother, Toni Enclade, has faith her daughter will be found.
