This morning, Thurston County, Washington, authorities say they have found the body of Christopher Dombroski, 20, a Joint Base Lewis McChord Soldier who had been missing since Sunday in Washington State’s Capitol Forest.

Dombroski was last heard from at about 8:30 p.m. Sunday night.

Search and rescue teams have been combing the forest since he was reported missing in the massive area that spans both Thurston and Grays Harbor counties.

Officials say Dombroski's death is not suspicious although the investigation is ongoing.
