Seantrel Henderson has marijuana trouble, and it might keep him out of the NFL. The Miami Hurricanes offensive lineman tested positive for marijuana during the NFL combine. This might keep him from being picked up during the NFL draft. That is set to happen on Thursday, so this is not the time to be testing positive for any kind of drugs. On May 5, The Chicago Tribune reported on the situation involving this football player.
Henderson has the talent to play with a pro football team, but he might not have the drive to do so. This is not his first positive drug test for marijuana either. He tested positive three times during his time at the University of Miami. He was not alone in this positive test. Two other football players at the combine also tested positive. Timmy Jernigan was one of those players, and he will not attend the draft set for Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
Right now, it is not clear if Henderson will attend the draft on Thursday. He was "on the board" for scouts, according to Twitter buzz surrounding him, but this positive test has taken him out of the picture for some teams. He might go during the fourth round instead of the first. That is if he is seen picked up at all. A drug test this soon before the draft could completely kill his chances for a pro pick up this season.
What do you think? Will Henderson be picked up by a team on Thursday's draft?
