Sean Lowe sent a furious AshLee home on last night’s episode of “The Bachelor”, Feb. 25, leaving Lindsay and Catherine to meet his family, with one hoping to receive a marriage proposal on the three-hour season finale in two weeks. "Bachelor" spoiler below.
“The Bachelor” had strong feelings for all three. He wasn’t thinking about a rose, but whom he can spend the rest of his life with and after three overnight dates in Thailand, Sean Lowe sent AshLee back to the United States; the woman whom he declared in the opening of the show had the biggest heart and shared the strongest relationship with. Really, because if the relationship was that strong, why then did you send the most vulnerable bachelorette home? Perhaps her whining, nasally voice was a tad too much?
Whatever the reason Sean Lowe had for dismissing AshLee on “The Bachelor”, he didn’t express it clearly when he tried to explain himself as she marched away. Sean followed her and she adamantly told him to “stay here”. However, “The Bachelor” persisted, offering a lame explanation for the dejected romance, to which she responded with an “all right”.
I want you to go away with closure and I want to you to know why I made my decision. I thought it was you from the very beginning. I felt like there was a lot of intensity there (in our relationship). And this was honestly the hardest decision I have ever had to make. I think the world of you; I don’t want you to ever doubt that. I hope you know where I am coming from. I don’t want to hurt you.
During the long ride back to the airport, AshLee expressed her pain.
I let him in and I loved him. This was the ultimate rejection.
Allow for a little speculation here with this "Bachelor" SPOILER. It is in this writer’s opinion that Sean Lowe let AshLee go because, as the spoilers have declared, Catherine receives the engagement ring and if he kept AshLee until the finale, her pain would have been worse. Lindsay will be easier to let go because of her immaturity and flippant nature (notice the smirk on her face as AshLee storms out in the slideshow).
Sean Lowe admitted he shares something with Catherine that he doesn’t share with the other two, but this was a difficult time for “The Bachelor” as it was the same week Emily Maynard broke his heart when she blind sighted him in Curacao on “The Bachelorette”.
Catherine seems to be a better fit for Sean Lowe’s personality and the one who whines the least. Honestly, why do these girls speak through their noses, ending each statement as a question? Side note: “Jimmy Kimmel Live” has been counting the number of times the women on “The Bachelor”say “amazing”. Last night’s episode garnered 22 with a season total so far of 130.
The “Women Tell All” next week on “The Bachelor”, with a return of the fan favorite everyone loves to hate, Tierrable. Sean Lowe proposes to the one who has stolen his heart on the three-hour season finale airing Monday, March 11 on ABC.
